KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49434.53 with a positive change of 220.38 and volume of 39,852,690 shares.

High and Low were 49491.07 and 49163.91 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 111,701,110 shares with 336 total traded companies out of which 209 were up, 119 were down and 8 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 19,414,300 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 15,813,900 shares.

The three top traded companies were Ghani Automobile with a volume of 7,947,000 and price per share of 16.88 (1.00), Power Cement Ltd. with a volume 7,765,500 of price per share of 21.75 (1.03), Dewan Cement with a volume 4,990,500of price per share of 35.71 (0.13).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2645.00 (70.00), Millat Tractors with price per share of 1050.00 (47.35) and Hinopak Motor share of 1655.00 (33.75).

The top three decliners were Service Ind.Ltd with price per share of 1480.00 (37.22), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4350.00 (20.00) and K.S.B.Pumps per share of 376.00 (15.92).
