KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said on Wednesday that MQM had destroyed the politics of Karachi.
Talking to media on his visit to Karachi, Khan said china cutting coupled with different crimes in the metropolis made it suffer for long. He claimed that Karachi was now a city of PTI.
He blasted the Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) for resorting to ethnic-based politics, which as per Imran Khan pushed Karachi to the backwardness.
Khan said Karachi belongs to his party and that he will give time to the city after Supreme Court rules on Panamagate scandal case.
PTI chairman who is in the metropolis to raise the issues of the city, switched to criticizing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in his talk to media personnel.
Imran Khan said that Qatari letter is a fraud; the real money trail is Ishaq Dars confessional statement. He once again reminded of Qatari ambassadors statement in which the envoy denied any link with the Princes letter.
When asked to comment on the appointment of Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair, Khan said he wont come hard on the newly-appointed governor, referring to presence of Zubairs brother and senior PTI leader Asad Umar at the press conference.
On a question regarding Sindh governor, Imran Khan said that Muhammad Zubair got this post as a reward for defending the corruption of Sharif family.
