More rain expected next 24 hours in Karachi

KARACHI: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast cloudy weather with light rainfall in Karachi on Friday and Saturday.

Weather conditions in Karachi have suddenly changed after relatively mild weather during last few days.

The Met Office said that cloudy weather with light rain is expected in the metropolis during the next 24 hours. The minimum temperature is expected to remain in the range between 12 to 14 degrees centigrade with 80 to 90 per cent humidity.

However, partly cloudy conditions with chances of light rain or drizzle is expected along the coastal belt of the province. The office said that the city may receive light shower/rains today, adding that due to the north-easterly wave weather to remain cold in the city for the next two days.

Snowfall of light to moderate intensity is also expected over the hills of upper Khyber Pukhtunkhawa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree and Galliyat on Friday and Saturday.
