KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49624.72 with a negative change of 41.25 and volume of 83,277,370 shares.

High and Low were 49780.53 and 49480.38 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 194,861,050 shares with 363 total traded companies out of which 119 were up, 234 were down and 10 were unchanged.

CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 40,099,000 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 34,299,200 shares.

The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 31,829,500 and price per share of 10.48 (0.07), Power Cement Ltd. with a volume 14,961,000 of price per share of 15.30 (0.13), Pak Int.Bulk with a volume 4,526,000 of price per share of 29.50 (0.82).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2519.87 (119.99), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4601.00 (74.45) and Mari Petroleum share of 1441.99 (68.66).

The top three decliners were Service Ind.Ltd with price per share of 1440.00 (35.00), Khyber Tobacco with price per share of 940.00 (20.33) and K.S.B.Pumps per share of 411.10 (17.55).
