Former Pakistan cricket captain Ramiz Raja has said that he is now seriously pursuing a career into film-making and will cast Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt in his debut movie as filmmaker.
Raja, who remains Pakistan most popular cricket commentator, regularly appears on Television shown and advertisements.
The commentator informed that he has cast renowned Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt for the movie, but the lead female actor is yet to be announced.
The cricketer-turned-commentator, and now turning into movie maker, further added that he has yet to sign a female lead, but wished to bring in Katrina Kaif and Mahira Khan on the roster.
"Actresses like Mahira Khan and Katrina Kaif have immense talent, it is my wish to cast them in the movie," Raja said, quoted Geo News. .
However, it would not be the first time that Ramiz Raja would lighten up the big screen, as he was seen in an Indian flick Dishoom, starring John Abraham in a cameo role as a commentator.
In a recent interview to BBC Urdu, Raja praised the Pakistani youth for their creativity talent.
"There is a lot of creativity in Pakistani youth. These young people are very keen to do something. If we are able to fill this void by allowing our youth to express their creativity standard films will come out."
