Muhammad Zubair to take oath as Sindh Governor

KARACHI: The Sindh Governor designate, Muhammad Zubair will take oath of his office today (Thursday) at Governor House in Karachi.

imageKARACHI: The Sindh Governor-designate, Muhammad Zubair will take oath of his office today (Thursday) at Governor House in Karachi.

The oath taking ceremony will be held in Governor House. He will be the 32nd governor of the province. The seat was left vacant after the death of Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui on January 11, 2017.

Saeed-uz-zaman Siddiqui held the post for two months, becoming the province's shortest-serving governor.

Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah will administer the oath.

Arrangements have been completed for the oath taking ceremony. Around 500 guests are invited to attend the ceremony according to local media reports.
