RECORDER REPORT-PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49809.30 with a positive change of 353.44 and volume of 100,010,940 shares.

High and Low were 49933.91 and 49455.86 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 268,322,760 shares with 376 total traded companies out of which 248 were up, 116 were down and 12 were unchanged.

ENGINEERING was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 63,411,400 shares. It was followed by POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION with a total traded volume of 36,422,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume of 47,541,000 and price per share of 14.83 (0.70), K-Electric Ltd. with a volume 28,488,000 of price per share of 10.54 (0.26), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 17,853,500 of price per share of 58.75 (1.95).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 4526.55 (215.55), Rafhan Maize with price per share of 7750.00 (113.00) and Ghandhara Ind. share of 1124.72 (53.55).

The top three decliners were Khyber Tobacco with price per share of 955.00 (44.93), Philip Morris Pak. with price per share of 2600.00 (40.00) and Shezan Inter. per share of 475.00 (18.98).
