Faryal Makhdoom, wife of boxer Amir Khan has revealed that she did not attend her brother-in-law's wedding because both she and her daughter were not invited.
The boxer's younger brother Haroon Khan, 25, celebrated his nuptials with a lavish reception at the Macron Stadium in Bolton, alongside 1,000 guests on Saturday.
However, Haroon was not pleased with his brother absence, as he was 'bitterly disappointed' at Amir, who was preparing for a fight at a training camp in the US, quoted the Daily Mail.
The Khan family has been in the limelight for the past few months, on account of an open feud between Faryal and her in-laws. Faryal, who has been locked in a bitter and public feud with her husband's family, said she didn't go because she was not invited.
She posted on Snapchat: saying 'Everyone's been asking why I didn't attend Amir's brother's wedding. I kept quiet.
'But the truth is AMIR'S wife and child was not invited. Or even included in the celebrations.
'They could have at least tried.'
However, Khan, 30, and his wife Faryal Makhdoom failed to turn up to the event, but appeared on television two days later to deal with the fallout of the boxer's sex tape being leaked online.
Faryal and Amir's family members have been embroiled in a public spat over the past few months, ever since she claimed that Amir's family had bullied and abused her. Amir Khan's father had rejected all her allegations and claimed that Faryal was 'evil'.
