McDonald is known for their famous Big Mac sandwich ever since it was invented in 1967, it's perhaps chains most iconic symbol. They have always kept their recipes secret, especially their secret Mac sauce. But now, the popular fast food chain is all set to giveaway their secret Big Mac sauce to the customers.
McDonald's is making bottles of its famous Big Mac sauce available in the US for the first time. The fast-food chain will be offering 10,000 bottles of the sauce at restaurants nationwide and through its social media accounts starting January 26. The company sold its first bottle of Big Mac sauce on eBay last year for more than $15,000, MSN.com reported.
On Wednesday, McDonald's will announce how its customers can get a hold of one of the 10,000 limited-edition bottles of its special sauce. The announcement comes as part of a promotion for their two new burgers, the Grand Mac and Mac Jr.
Though the recipe had been available online for years but no one has managed to get a hold of authentic Big Mac sauce. However, the sauce will be available solely for U.S burger lovers.
McDonalds chef Mike Haracz tells Mashable, "We know theres a lot of love for McDonalds Big Mac special sauce and, in fact, actually found its the most talked about ingredient when it comes to the Big Mac".
