KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49,901.97 with a negative change of 71.09 and volume of 96,000,410 shares.

High and Low were 50267.24 and 49892.53 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 245,644,960shares with 377 total traded companies out of which 181 were up, 187 were down and 19 were unchanged.

POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 48,900,700 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 30,131,000 shares.

The three top traded companies were Japan Power. with a volume of 30,038,500 and price per share of 7.78 (0.69), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 21,307,000 of price per share of 52.70 (2.06), Aisha Steel Mill with a volume 15,822,500 of price per share of 22.64 (0.63).

The top three advancers were Attock Petroleum with price per share 740.00 (21.07), K.S.B.Pumps with price per share of 474.90 (20.47) and Atlas Battery share of 986.00 (18.97).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4510.00 (-100.60), Pak Tobacco with price per share of 1220.00 (-62.80) and Indus Dyeing per share of 617.55 (-32.45).
