KARACHI: The price of gold on Friday surged to Rs56, 500 per tola with Rs700 increase after the price of yellow metal posted a rise of $24 an ounce on global market, traders said.
The price of gold per 10 grams reached Rs48, 428 up by Rs600 on the local market. The price of yellow metal on the international market hit $1726 an ounce mark up by $24, according to the traders.
