PM, President congratulate nation on first flight test of 'Ababeel'

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz and President Mamnoon Hussain congratulated the nation and Pakistan military forces on first flight test of SSM ABABEEL that has a range of 2200 km.

The prime minister has appreciated the hard work put in by engineers of the Pakistan Military and commended their efforts for development of indigenous technology, a press release of the PM House issued here Tuesday said.

The President said the missile test was not against any country but to maintain balance of power in the region.

Successful flight test of Ababeel missile was important for peace and balance of power in the region, the president added.

He termed it an important milestone for defence of the country.
