imagePakistans One Day International (ODI) skipper Azhar Alis stint as the leader is once again in jeopardy, after the green shirts lose the fourth ODI against Australia, and with that the ongoing series.

The tour Down Under has exposed Pakistan cricket teams embarrassing state of affairs. After being whitewashed in Tests, the sole victory in the ODIs provided a glimpse of hope for the Men in Green to make a turnaround.

However, after mediocre fielding display and poor tactics in the fourth ODI, Pakistan lost the ODI series as well.

"I dont want to talk about Azhar Ali in the middle of the series," said Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan, quoted the Daily Express. "We will decide about the captaincy once the ongoing series finishes."

The PCBs head was especially critical of the teams farcical fielding during the series.

"Teams performance was extremely poor, especially in the fielding department, he said. In the third ODI, the fielders missed some chances, but in the fourth match they dropped five catches. How can you expect [Pakistan] to win a match with that performance?" the disgruntled chief questioned.

Pakistan gave away chances during the fourth ODI, Sharjeel Khan and Hasan Ali dropped two catches a piece, including that of Maxwell which proved the most costly.

Sharyar, however, softened his stance later on saying that the team preparation was not up to the mark.

"Winning or losing is a part of the game, but you cannot put the blame on one person or one department," he said. "Teams preparation was not up to the mark, which is why I believe we lost badly in New Zealand and Australia."
