KARACHI: On Monday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49725.88 with a positive change of 361.13 and volume of 146,781,490 shares.

High and Low were 49745.89 and 49364.83 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 282,735,270 shares with 374 total traded companies out of which 248 were up, 112 were down and 14 were unchanged.

POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 105,219,300 shares. It was followed by CHEMICAL with a total traded volume of 30,546,350 shares.

The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd. with a volume of 94,058,000 and price per share of 9.90 (0.32), Lotte Chemical with a volume 16,855,000 of price per share of 9.30 (0.53), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 12,244,500 of price per share of 51.40 (0.77).

The top three advancers were Pak Tobacco with price per share 1449.99 (64.99), ICI Pakistan with price per share of 1215.00 (54.74) and Service Ind.Ltd share of 1550.00 (46.09).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4645.99 (-94.00), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2550.00 (-88.21) and Ghandhara Ind. per share of 1091.10 (-22.73).
