KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48881.40 with a positive change of 176.41 and volume of 62,104,610 shares.

High and Low were 48914.14 and 48642.09 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 151,118,500 shares with 334 total traded companies out of which 197 were up, 119 were down and 18 were unchanged.

ENGINEERING was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 30,280,500 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 16,799,400 shares.

The three top traded companies were Dost Steels Ltd.. with a volume of 14,491,500 and price per share of 13.47 (0.54), Aisha Steel Mill with a volume 10,835,000 of price per share of 17.39 (0.35), Pak Elektron with a volume 6,105,500 of price per share of 77.10 (1.69).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2900.00 (43.50), Ghandhara Ind. with price per share of 838.00 (37.04) and Highnoon (Lab) share of 660.00 (22.97).

The top three decliners were Indus DyeingXD with price per share of 652.65 (-34.35), Service Ind.Ltd with price per share of 1455.10 (-21.95) and Sitara Chemical per share of 570.00 (-10.00).
