RECORDER REPORT-PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48867.53 with a positive change of 39.98 and volume of 102,327,250 shares.

High and Low were 49060.93 and 48696.02 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 208,641,990 shares with 346 total traded companies out of which 171 were up, 162 were down and 13 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 26,417,000 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 25,818,250 shares.

The three top traded companies were P.T.C.L. with a volume of 10,110,000 and price per share of 18.49 (0.38), Engro Fert. with a volume 8,153,000 of price per share of 72.85 (0.88), Pak Elektron with a volume 7,940,000 of price per share of 76.21 (1.50).

The top three advancers were Ghandhara Ind. with price per share 800.96 (38.14), Millat Tractors with price per share of 947.02 (18.69) and Packages Ltd. share of 860.00 (18.04).

The top three decliners were Rafhan Maize with price per share of 8200.00 (390.00), Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 1725.00 (25.00) and Indus DyeingXD per share of 700.00 (21.71).
