ISLAMABAD: Rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills is expected at isolated places in Malakand division and Gilgit-Baltistan while cold and dry weather to persist elsewhere in the country during next 24 hours.

A trough of western disturbance is still affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist till Monday, an official of Met office told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained cold and dry in most parts of the country.
However, rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over the hills occurred at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Dense foggy conditions prevailed over most plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh, during this time duration.
Rainfall recorded during this time span remained Khaber Pakhtunkhwa: Pattan 19mm, Dir 18mm, Drosh 17mm, Chitral 15mm, Kalam, Malamjabba, Mirkhani 14mm, Saidu Sharif 09mm, Balakot, Kakul, Lower Dir 07mm, Gilgit-Baltistan: Gupis 05mm, Astore 03mm, Kashmir: Muzaffarabad 05mm, Rawalakot 04mm, Garhi Dupatta 03 and FATA: Parachinar 03 while snowfall recorded was Kalam 05 inch and Malamjabba 01 inch.
Minimum Temperatures on Sunday were Kalat -05C, Skardu, Hunza, Quetta -04C, Gupis -03C, Malamjabba -02C. Gilgit, Dir 00C, Chitral 03C, Muzaffarabad, Murree 05?C,
Peshawar, Islamabad 08?C, Faisalabad 10C, Multan, Lahore 11C and Karachi, Hyderabad 18C.
