KARACHI: The Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq, here on Sunday visited the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
On the occasion, he laid a floral wreath at the mazar and offered Fateha.
Talking to media persons on the occasion, he said that the peace is being restored in Karachi and in this regard he lauded the contributions of the law enforcement agencies (LEAs).
The Minister said that the armed forces and the civilian government have done a lot for peace in the city.
He further stated that inspite of challenges the country is on the path of progress, development and democracy.
He stated that the state institutions are functioning in accordance with the constitution.
" We would give the coming generation a brighter, prosperous and a stronger Pakistan", the Minister remarked.
