ATTOCK: Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will generate jobs for youth in near future.
He said this while talking to newsmen here in a Daughter's Wedding ceremony of prominent figure Akhlaq Ahmed Khan of Basal.
He said that CPEC passing through differing areas of Attock, will certainly benefit the residents and the youth of the area and will avail job opportunities nearest to their home.
Federal Minister said that this govt has started mega projects which will have far reaching affects on the development and prosperity of the country.
He said that this govt wants facilities for the residents of far flung areas and taking practical steps in this regard.
The Federal Minister said that because of public and country friendly policies PML-N has bagged majority of the seats in local body elections and now Chairmen nominated by PML-N are also being elected across the Punjab.
Sheikh Aftab said that in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Sialkot candidates of PML-N have been elected unopposed as mayors which is an ample proof that people are with the sitting govt.
While talking about Attock district he said that PML-N candidate Sardar Ahsan Ali Khan will be victorious as Chairman District Council Attock as he is having support of the majority of the members of district council. Sheikh Aftab said, those thinking of defeating PML-N candidate are living in fools paradise.
While replying a question he said that PML-N during its tenure will complete its agenda of making Pakistan prosperous and developed.
On the occasion Councillor Sheikh Nasir Mahmood (nominated for chairmanship of Tehsil Council Attock), Sheikh Salman Sarwar PML-N, Dr Ashraf Butt, Sheikh Ajmal, and other notables were also present.
