NEW YORK: Prices on US 30-year Treasury debt added to earlier gains on Monday as doubts whether European leaders would reach a deal to contain the region's debt crisis rekindled safehaven demand for bonds.
The 30-year bonds last traded up 1 point, yielding 3.21 percent, down 5 basis points from late on Friday.
