RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Monday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 42428.76 with a positive change of 103.82 and volume of 41,204,720 shares.

High and Low were 42546.53 and 42324.94 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 160,251,090 shares with 328 total traded companies out of which 189 were up, 123 were down and 16 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 46,841,500 shares. It was followed by CEMENT with a total traded volume of 24,196,700 shares.

The three top traded companies were Summit Bank with a volume of 19,093,500 and price per share of 4.77 (0.16), Power Cement Ltd. with a volume 18,885,500 of price per share of 11.92 (0.40), B.O.Punjab with a volume 17,614,500 of price per share of 19.08 (0.19).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 4317.98 (205.61), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 1823.53 (86.83) and Murree BreweryXD share of 988.00 (37.75).

The top three decliners were Khyber TobaccoXD with price per share of 948.00 (22.00), Hinopak Motor with price per share of 1377.10 (24.09) and Atlas Battery per share of 846.00 (20.85).
