LAHORE: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has directed for ensuring quality, modern requirements and proposed design in upgradation and restoration of Sibbi-Harnai section.
Presiding over a meeting at PR headquarters here on Saturday, he directed the department concerned to make separate sitting arrangements as well as prayers places for male and female passengers at all railway stations on the section.
He also ordered for security planning for the section, and expressed his satisfaction at the Sibbi-Harnai railway section work progress.
He said that the project should be completed within the given time period.
Earlier, project director National Logistic Cell (NLC) Brigadier Shahid Majeed gave a briefing about the progress on the section and said the 49 per cent work had been completed.
PR Chairperson Parveen Agha, Chief Executive M Javaid Anwar, Advisor Pervaiz Anjum and other senior officers attended the meeting.
