CPEC to change destiny of entire region: Ameer Muqam

PESHAWAR: Advisor to Prime Minister, Engr. Ameer Muqam has said that acceptance of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Chief Minister regarding importance of CPEC is welcoming as the project would change the destiny of entire region.

He expressed these views while talking to media persons in Shangla on Saturday. He said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is an integral element of CPEC and western rout is a part of the corridor.

He said that Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal has also assured KP CM KP that western rout is a part of CPEC that after completion would usher our entire region into a new phase of prosperity and development.

On the occasion, he informed that establishment of two news Grid Stations of Besham Shang and Puran Makhozai Martoong would resolve the issue of low voltage permanent basis.

He said that 30 km transmission line from Besham to Kotki Grid Station has also been sanctioned.
