KARACHI : President, Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Masood Naqi has said that country's private industrialists operating in KATI were willing to become partner in the industrial projects under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
" Being the representative body of Pakistan's Largest industrial area, we are also willing to take part in the promotion of industrial investment in CPEC" Naqi said in a statement here on Friday. He said that CPEC was a game changer for the region. It had now become the biggest attraction for foreign investment, which would not only provide the employment opportunities but speed up industrialization in the country.
Head of KATI's Standing Committee on Custom, Port and Shipping, Faraz-ur-Rehman said that every effort to promote CPEC was a national service on the part of business community.
He praised the measures taken by government for enhancement of the partnership of local industry in this multinational project.
Faraz-ur-Rehman told that KATI was going to arrange a visit of industrialist investor's delegation to Gwader for exploring new venues of economic activity in the coming weeks.
