RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 42427.27 with a positive change of 22.80 and volume of 67,562,210 shares.

High and Low were 42517.70 and 42326.98 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 231,638,010 shares with 359 total traded companies out of which 175 were up, 168 were down and 16 were unchanged.

ENGINEERING was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 56,159,700 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 34,515,900 shares.

The three top traded companies were Dost Steel (R) with a volume of 40,830,000 and price per share of 5.04 (0.86), Pace (Pak) Ltd. with a volume 14,145,500 of price per share of 11.35 (0.30), WorldCall Telecom with a volume 11,458,000 of price per share of 3.00 (0.04).

The top three advancers were Exide (PAK) with price per share 1044.34 (49.73), Indus DyeingXD with price per share of 543.53 (25.88) and AL-Ghazi TractorsXD share of 631.50 (18.88).

The top three decliners were Island Textile with price per share of 1140.00 (60.00), Service Ind.Ltd with price per share of 1330.00 (30.00) and Abbott Lab. per share of 894.00 (13.92).
