Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been voted by People’s Magazine as the sexiest man alive in their poll feature for this year. After bagging the title of World’s highest paid actor, he has now entered into the elite group of physically appealing men that over the years has included George Clooney, Matt Damon and David Beckham.
Talking about when he first heard about his latest title, ‘The Rock’ said, “That’s awesome. And then what went through my mind was just how cool and exciting it is,” Johnson tells PEOPLE magazine in this week’s cover story. “And then I thought, ‘Wow, we’ve pretty much reached the pinnacle.’ I’m not quite too sure where we go from here. I’ve done it all, this is it,” he added.
He also revealed that his love Lauren Hashian has always thought of him as the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’. “The good thing is she already thinks I’m the Sexiest Man Alive,” says the 44-year-old, who has been dating Hashian for nearly ten years. He adds of her reaction, “She’s going to yell loudly, she’s going to scream.”
He confesses that his sense of humour makes him sexy. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who will be appearing alongside Johnson in an upcoming Hollywood flick ‘Baywatch’ tweeted,
‘Sexiest Man Alive’ is not the first high-profile title Johnson garnered this year. In August Forbes named him Hollywood's highest-paid actor, bringing in $64.5 million between June 2015-2016.
