KARACHI: Gold further plunged by Rs343 to close at Rs46,628 per 10 grams in the local market on Thursday, as its international price dropped to $1,627 an ounce, market sources said.

According to the Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also plummeted by Rs400 to Rs54,400.

Silver closed lower at Rs917.14 per 10 grams.
