KARACHI: The foreign exchange reserves of the country increased by dollars 30 million to dollars 17.202 billion as on Oct 14 compared to reserves of the previous week, the Central Bank announced here Thursday.
In its weekly report here, the SBP said that the reserves on Oct 6 were dollars 17.172 billion.
Showing the break up of the figures, it said that SBP held reserves worth dollars 13.462 billion and by others bank dollars 3.740 billion.
"The little rise in reserves could be attributed to remittances by overseas Pakistanis due to preparations for upcoming Eidul Azha celebration,"
