imageTAIPEI: South Korea's Jang Ha-Na carded a one-under 71 Sunday for a 17-under par total of 271 to secure a one-shot victory at the LPGA Taiwan Championship.

Jang battled strong wind and rain to end the final round with three birdies and two bogeys at the tournament at Miramar Golf and Country Club in New Taipei City.

Jang held off a powerful charge from China's Feng Shanshan, thanks to a six-shot lead she kept after firing a flawless 10-under 62 Saturday to set her best personal scoring record and tie the tournament course record.

Feng scored a six-under 66 in the final round to finish with a tournament total of 16-under par 272.

It was Jang's third victory of the 2016 season.

Canada's Brooke Henderson and Kim Hyo-Joo of South Korea tied for third place at 10-under par.

Taiwan's Candie Kung, Lee-Anne Pace of South Africa and South Korea's Park Hee-Young shared fifth place at 9-under par.

Defending champion Lydia Ko of New Zealand was tied for 20th at 3-under par.
