 NEW DELHI: England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and elected to bat in the second one-day international against India in New Delhi on Monday.

Both teams retained the same sides that played in the first match in Hyderabad last Friday, which India won by 126 runs to take the lead in the five-match series.

England: Alastair Cook (capt), Craig Kieswetter, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Jonathan Bairstow, Ravi Bopara, Samit Patel, Tim Bresnan, Jade Dernbach, Steven Finn, Graeme Swann.

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Gautam Gambhir, Parthiv Patel, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav, Vinay Kumar, Praveen Kumar.
