Apple has finally released the most awaited smartphone of the year, as it released its next generation of iPhone’s the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at its annual event in San Francisco.
The latest iPhones are finally water resistant and water resisitant, similar to Samsung’s S7and Edge. However, aesthetically speaking it is similar to the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, with an aluminum body and rounded edges.
The freshly released flagship will be available in five colors i.e. the usual lighter black shade, gold, silver, rose gold and the new me in five colors, and a new glossy ‘Jet Black’ finish, reported the Business Insider.
As per MacWorld, The iPhone chin i.e. the Home Button is present in iPhone 7. However, the button does not physically moves up and down, physically. Instead, you press it and get a little vibration, feeling like it’s going down.
Coming to the other specifications, the most significant changes on the new phone include an upgraded camera, a new home button and as previously reported the removal of headphone jack. The headphone connection will now be replaced with a pair of Lightning EarPods, which will connect through the charging port.
Camera wise, the iPhone 7 will feature one rear, 12-megapixel camera, whereas, the iPhone 7 Plus, will have a powerful "dual-lens" camera, that allow for telephoto photography. The front of the smartphone will have a new, 7-megapixel selfie camera, with auto image stabilization and wider range of colors, reported USA Today.
Power wise, the new iPhone will run on the new four-core "A10 Fusion" chip. Apple claims that it will improve the smartphone overall performance by 40 percent than its predecessor, the A9 chip. Battery is also improved, as Apple claims the iPhone 7 will last more than two more hours than the 6s. Whereas, the iPhone 7 Plus would last a hour more than its predecessor.
The smartphones would be available in the usual 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB variants.
