The Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (PSMA) has welcomed the appointment of the former IG Motorway and Highway Police, Zia-ul-Hassan as new Inspector General Police Punjab. In a press statement, PSMA Chairman, Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf, said Zia-ul-Hassan has served efficiently as IG Motorway and Highway and especially his pro-farmers and pro-industry approach has earned a lot more respect for him.
He hoped that law and order situation in the province would improve with his appointment as IGP Punjab.
