Tribal elder and eminent PPP leader Haji Sowzad Khan Shinwari called on Federal Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao at the People House here on Sunday. The tribal elder apprised the minister about the development schemes and law and order situation in tribal areas. mSherpao said the tribal people had rendered great sacrifices in the past to protect the western frontiers of the country, adding the government is striving for bringing at par Fata to the developed areas of Pakistan.
He said scores of development projects have been started in Fata which will lead tribal areas to the road of progress and development.
The tribal elder assured the minister of tribal people's all out support in protecting the geographical and ideological frontiers of the country.
