Talat assumes charge of PIA general manager

Talat Ali Malik has taken over the charge as General Manager (North) PIA. He brings with him a vast experience of marking and its one of the senior officers of this department. He joined PIA marketing department in 1973. He was posted district sales manager Jeddah from 1982-1986 and as manager Holland from 1990 to 1994. He also served as sales manager at Lahore from 1994 to 1999 and has recently come back from UK where he performed his duties as manager Manchester from 1999-2005.
Malik has also represented Pakistan cricket team as opening batsman from 1971 to 1978. He has also served in international cricket council (ICC) as match referee. He was the only match referee from Pakistan to participate in 1999 Cricket World Cup.
