LSE index gains 83.64 points

LAHORE : Lahore Stock Exchange gained 83.64 points on Monday, as LSE-25 index opened with 3179.49 and closed at 3263.1

 LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange gained 83.64 points on Monday, as LSE-25 index opened with 3179.49 and closed at 3263.13 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.361 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.877 million shares, showing a difference of 1.483 million shares. While, out of the total 98 active scrips 42 moved up, 46 remained equal and only 10 shed values.

Millat Tractors Limited, Pakistan Oil Fields Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company were major gainers of the day by recording an increase in their per share value by Rs13.02, Rs8.71 and Rs7.85 respectively.

Sally Textile Mills Limited, Nimir Industrial Chemicals and Treet Corporation Limited lost their per share value by Re 1.00, Re 0.95 and Re 0.91 respectively.

The volume leader of the day included Fatima Fertilizer Company with turnover of 704,731 shares, Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 362,940 and Arif Habib Corporation with 263,359 shares Limited with 272,499 shares.
