NFC starts distribution of fertiliser
LAHORE: National Fertilizers Corporation (NFC) has launched one-window operation for disbudrsement of fertiliser to dealers across the country for Rabi crops.
NFC Managing Director Tariq Shafi Khan, talking to APP here on Monday said that the company would ensure transparent distribution of fertiliser to farmers through its marketing network comprising 1,500 registered dealers across the country.
He said that the one-window operation had started facilitating dealers and transparency and merit in disbursement of products was ensured to every dealer.
The MD said that Trading Corporation of Pakistan had imported desired brands of urea and handed over it to the NFC for distribution throughout the country. He added that no quota had been allocated to any one and every bag of fertiliser, provided by the Trading Corporation of Pakistan would be distributed in a transparent way.
Tariq Shafi said that he emphasized improved efficiency of the organization and any negligence from marketing staff would not be tolerated.
