MSA seizes another 10 Indian fishing boats

indian_fishermenKARACHI: The Maritime Security Agency (MSA) arrested 36 Indian fishermen and seized 10 boats for illegal fishing in Pakistani territorial waters in Indus Delta.

"Seizure took place on Sept 04, but we had to complete all the interrogation and verification procedures which took time," said a spokesman of MSA here on Thursday.

He said that the Indian fishermen have been handed over to the the Docks Police on Wednesday morning.

"It is the 5th seizure of the Indian fishing boats during the last 45 days," he added.

He said that the MSA in the month of September arrested 94 fishermen and seized 21 boats.
