MADRID: Spain's calendar adjusted industrial output rose 0.3 percent year on year in August, data from the National Statistics Institute showed on Thursday, well above forecasts for a drop of 4 percent. In July output fell 2.3 percent, revised up from a preliminary reading for a 2.8 percent decline.
