copperSINGAPORE: LME copper is expected to rise to $7,300 per tonne as it refused to resume a downtrend.

The metal only pierced briefly below a pivotal support at $6,800, and the following rebound is strong enough to extend to $7,300.

A fall below $6,678 will confirm a progress of the downtrend towards $6,300.
