KHAIRPUR: A Business man was deprived of Rs 1.5 million near Khairpur on Wednesday.
According to detail, Sadam Hussain Narejo, a trader after withdraw of Rs 1.5 million from a private bank of Khairpur going to Gambat, when three armed motor cyclists intercepted him near Shah Hussain and snatched Rs. 1.5 million at gun point and ran away.
On receiving information, the C section police chased culprits but failed to trace them.
It is to mention that after transfer of SSP Peer Muhammad Shah, the crime rate has gone up in all eight talukas of district Khairpur.
