ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee Tuesday issued price list of vegetables and fruits for Ramzan/Sasta Bazaars set up at Pakistan Town, Bhara Kahu and Tarlai areas.
According to a spokesman of the market, the rates of vegetables at the Ramzan/Sasta Bazaars of Islamabad are as under:
Potato per kilogram is Rs 28, Potato Store Rs 24, Onion Rs 24, Tomato Rs 31, Ginger Rs 85, Garlic desi Rs 175, Garlic (China) Rs 175, Lemon desi Rs 115, Lady Finger Rs 32, Pumpkin Rs 30, Brinjal Rs 28, Peas Rs 112, Farsh Bean Rs 78, Tanda Walaiti Rs 65, Tanda desi Rs 65, Cucumber Rs 35, Capsicum Rs 55/40, Green Chilli Rs 46, Cauliflower Rs 72/45, Cabbage Rs 30, Bitter gourd Rs 38, Green Zucchini Rs 34, Spinach Rs 35, Raddish Rs 32, Turnip Rs 42, Maroo Rs 42, Yam Rs 62, Carrot Rs 45, Chicken Rs 129 per kg and Egg per dozen Rs 74.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Sasta Bazaars are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 144/125, Apple White Rs 88/63, Apple Ambri Rs 84/58, Apple China Rs 184/155, Apple New Zealand Rs 250/220, Banana Pak Rs 132/95, Banana Ind Rs 156/135, Pear China Rs 158, Apricot Swat Rs 105/85, Apricot Kabli Rs 155/135, Melon desi Rs 24/16, White Melon Rs 24/16, Water Melon Rs 20/15, Peach Rs 145/130, Mango Sundhari Rs 118/85, Mango Maldeh Rs 66/50, Mango Almas Rs 58/45, Mango langra Rs 70/52, Mango Chusa White Rs 118/85, Mango Dosari Rs 82/55, Mango Ratool Rs 130/118, Mango Desi Rs 58/42, Plum Rs 145/120 and Garma Rs 62/45.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any complaint against shopkeepers.
