Cancellation of bogus allotment of land ordered

Punjab Minister Manazar Ali Ranjha, chairing a meeting of district allotment committees here on Sunday, has asked chairmen of these committees to make sure that the process of allotment of land to the land-less tillers remained clean and transparent.
He stressed upon the chairmen to keep a strict watch on revenue staff of the provincial government in allotment matters and cancel any bogus allotments that come to their notice.
A number of discrepancies in the allotment matters were brought to the notice of Manazar Ali Ranjha, who forthwith ordered removal of such to make the process of allotment transparent on the occasion.
