The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Ruud Lubbers, arrived here on Sunday on a three-day official visit to focus on the voluntary repatriation of Afghan refugees, the UN said.
Lubbers is due to hold talks with President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Zafarullah Jamali and senior members of government on Monday, a statement by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) said.
UNHCR last month resumed operations facilitating the repatriation of Afghan refugees from Pakistan after a three-month suspension.
