ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Wednesday issued price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets are as follows: Potato Rs.34, Onion Rs.36, Tomato Rs.46, Ginger Rs.97, Garlic Rs.178, Garlic (China) Rs.178, Lemon Rs.210, Land Finger Rs.46, Pumpkin Rs.46, Brinjal Rs.40, Peas Rs.114, Farsh Bean Rs.84, Tanda Walaiti Rs.66, Tanda desi Rs.46, Cucumber Rs.54, Capsicum Rs.90/68, Green Chilli Rs.66, Cauliflower Rs.78/66, Cabbage Rs.46, Bitter gourd Rs.46, Spinach Rs.33, Raddish Rs.30, Maroo Rs.48, Turnip Rs.44, Yam Rs.90, Carrot Rs.55, Chicken Rs.167 and Egg per dozen Rs. 80.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs.165/105, Apple Ambri Rs.92/72, Apple White Rs.104/70, Apple China Rs.230/208, Apple Newziland Rs.280/248, Banana Pak Rs.173/115, Banana Ind, Rs.200/177, Pear China Rs.188, Melon Rs. 46/40, White Melon Rs.46/40, Water Melon Rs.20/14, Peach Rs.288/210, Apricot Swat Rs.106/86, Mango Sundari Rs.128/110, Mango Maldeh Rs.120/98, Mango Almas Rs.105/82, Mango langra Rs.76/60, Mango Dosari Rs.100/93, Mango Ratool Rs154/130, Mango Desi Rs 70/64 and Apricot Kabli Rs.173/125.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
