Opposition leader in Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and leader of The Founders, Chaudhry Manzoor Tahir has flayed the management of the LCCI for raising the salary of the executive secretary for what he said "at the expense of the rest of the staff."
In a statement here on Saturday Tahir said that the management had enhanced the pay of the executive secretary of the chamber by thousands of rupees while the raise in the other staff goes in hundreds which is a rare example of discrimination on the part of the management. He demand that all the staff of the chamber should be given two increments as has been done in case of secretary.
Moreover, he said that the opposition would resist every move of the chamber's management aimed at downsizing of the staff.
