LONDON: Europe's leading stock markets fell at the start of trading on Friday, with London's FTSE 100 index of leading shares down 0.29 percent to 5,181.55 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 shed 0.66 percent to 5,602.55 points and in Paris the CAC 40 lost 0.57 percent to 3,009.26 points.
