ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Market Committee on Tuesday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under:
Potato per kilogram is Rs 28, Onion Rs 28, Tomato 24, Ginger Rs 92, Garlic Rs 135, Garlic (China) Rs 155, Lemon Rs 186, Lady Finger Rs 38, Pumpkin Rs 50, Brinjal Rs 45, Peas Rs 102, Farsh Bean Rs 78, Tanda Walaiti Rs 62/55, Cucumber Rs 34, Capsicum Rs 64/40, Green Chilli Rs 52, Cauliflower Rs 65, Cabbage Rs 25, Bitter gourd Rs 40/28, Spinach Rs 24, Raddish Rs 25/22, Turnip Rs 42, Maroo Rs 42, Yam Rs 100/78, Carrot Rs 35, Chicken Rs 162 and Egg per dozen Rs 67.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 160/135, Apple White Rs 90/75, Banana Pak Rs 118/84, Banana Ind Rs 165/140, Pear China Rs 158/135, Apricot Rs 105/72, Apple Irani Rs 160/135, Apple China Rs 190/168, Melon Rs 30/25, Watermelon Rs 24/20, Mango Sundari Rs 118/85, Mango Almas Rs 70/58 and Peach Rs 68/55.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
