KARACHI: The gold price on Thursday slumped by Rs1300 per tola to Rs55400 on the local market, traders said.

The price of gold per 10-gram also dipped by Rs1150 to Rs47485 during a single day trading. On the global market, the precious metal price was cited $1620 per ounce down by $1662.
