KARACHI: Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) posted a higher profit after tax of Rs1.007 billion for the financial year ending June 30, 2011 and declared a cash dividend of Rs1 per share.

According to the financial results of the shipping company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange here Wednesday, the pre-tax profit stood at Rs1.400 billion.

The earning per share also improved to Rs7.62 during the period under review compared to Rs7.33 in 2010.
