ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Market Committee on Thursday issued price list of vegetables and fruits per kilogram.
According to spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets are as follows:
Potato Rs.24, Onion Rs.34, Tomato 23, Ginger Rs.80, Garlic Rs.145, Garlic (China) Rs.145, Lemon Rs.200, Lady Finger Rs.52, Pumpkin Rs.35, Brinjal Rs.55, Peas Rs.120, Farsh Bean Rs.78, Tanda Walaiti Rs.55/66, Cucumber Rs.40, Capsicum Rs.45/40, Green Chilli Rs.48, Cauliflower Rs. 65/45, Cabbage Rs.22, Bitter gourd Rs.45, Spinach Rs.28/20, Raddish Rs.28/20, Turnip Rs.55, Maroo Rs.35, Yam Rs.95, Carrot Rs.35/28, Chicken Rs.172, Egg per dozen Rs. 70.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruit per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows:
Apple Kala Kulo Rs.150/115, Apple White Rs.96/60, Apple Ambri 74/50, Banana (Pak) Rs.110/68, Banana (India), Rs.160 /132, Pear (China) Rs.165/130, Apricot 105/80, Apple Irani 150/115, Apple (China) 220/190, Strawberry Rs.220/190, Melon 24/20, Watermelon 18/15, Mango Sundari 150/110, Mango Almas 110/85, Peach 115/90, Lokat 110/68.
The spokesman has asked the citizens to follow this list and inform authorities on phone number 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against the shopkeepers.
